Holiday blackjack tournaments kick off in Vegas and Robinsonville

Dec 11, 2009

Two of the biggest hotspots for casino blackjack tournaments in the United States are Las Vegas in Nevada and Robinsonville in Mississippi. During the next couple of weeks, major casinos in both cities will be hosting holiday blackjack tournaments with some incredible prizes available to be won.

In Robinsonville, the Christmas season begins today with a $250,000 Blackjack Tournament at the Horseshoe Tunica. This open event comes with a steep $1,000 entry fee, but with $100,000 reserved for the first place winner, it has quite a lot of potential. Most of the 250 available seats have been comped to local high rollers, but there are public spots available.

Another Robinsonville blackjack tournament kicks off on December 14, this time at the Grand Strike Tunica. This $35,000 After Hours Blackjack Tournament only costs $100 to join. The first place prize is set at $17,500 and will be paid half in cash, and half in use-once promo chips.

Lastly, the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas is running a $30,000 Holiday Blackjack Tournament starting on December 14th. This one is an invitational, and participants receive comped rooms at the casino’s hotel. Re-buys are offered at $150 each, and $15,000 has been reserved for the first place winner.

Further details for all of these casino blackjack tournaments, along with other major upcoming events, are available in our casino blackjack tournaments page. This section is updated monthly. A separate section offers listings of online blackjack tournaments – look here to find out which casinos host regular and periodic blackjack events – join one today to win a little extra spending money for the holidays!
