Panasonic Mobile Gambling Arrives in Europe With the Eluga Smartphone
Apr 16, 2012
Mobile gamers prepare to taste the power of the Panasonic Eluga – the latest smartphone to win their hearts and minds.
The Japanese giant Panasonic has been almost unheard of in the world of powerful smartphone, but the latest announcements are about to change that. Fans of mobile casinos just learned that the Panasonic Eluga is about to hit the European markets.
The Panasonic Eluga will treat fans of Android casinos to a 4.3 inch qHD AMOLED display in a very slim only 7.8mm thick body. Despite its slender waistline the phone is IP57 certified, which meant dust proof capabilities and the ability to stay under 1.5m of water for about half an hour.
The smartphone is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the maker promised Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the very near future. The power features are represented by a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
Mobile casino games enthusiasts in Germany can lay their hands on the phone for EUR 400 at Amazon and GetGoods, and even cheaper – EUR 370 – at Guenstiger.
British fans of mobile casino gambling will have to wait a little longer for the smartphone – until April 24 – and fork over GBP 365 (EUR 440) for it.
Panasonic already has a more powerful version of the Eluga in the pipeline: the Panasonic Eluga Power has a Krait chipset and Ice Cream Sandwich under the hood and is expected to hit the shelves “by the end of April”.
