iPhone 5 release
The rumors of iPhone 5 release date are partially confirmed by massive nano-SIM cards orders by major carriers across Europe.
No other than Financial Times reports that wireless carriers across Europe are preparing for the iPhone 5 launch by ordering nano-SIM cards. Previous rumors suggest that the new iPhone casinos tamer will switch to a smaller SIM standard, and the behavior of carriers indirectly confirms that.
The 4FF nano-SIM card design has already been approved, and now rumors of iPhone 5 having it seem truer than ever. You can read more about the upcoming Apple device rumors in our iPhone 5 Details Showcased in a Leaked Video article.
The sudden activity of the carriers can only mean the approaching release of the much awaited iPhone 5. Real money iPhone mobile gambling fans cannot be happier, as the device is expected to take mobile gambling to never-before-seen height.
As for the new SIM format: the nano-SIM is 40 percent smaller than the current micro-SIM and is already enjoying full-blown support from a number of other manufacturers besides the Cupertino company.
Nokia, RIM, and Motorola are among the companies besides Apple, which proposed the nano-SIM design to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. After careful consideration the Institute chose the Apple design, however, it’s not expected to become the major SIM standard across the industry in the coming 2-3 years.
The initial rumors place the iPhone 5 official announcement somewhere in October, when the next big Apple event is scheduled to take place. However, given the latest developments with the SIM-card orders it might happen even sooner, which will send a loud cheer of joy across millions of mobile casinos fans.
