Alderney license for ComTrade

Alderney awards Category 2 license to ComTrade.

Slovenia-based gaming technology solution provider ComTrade has been granted a Category 2 license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC). This will allow the company to provide their iGaming Platform to a wider range of international clients.

The company already supplies some well-known online and land based gambling industry clients, including Bally Technologies and Genting, who rely on ComTrade’s B2B solutions.

In addition to the iGaming Platform, these solutions include server based gaming systems, and monitoring and control tools for regulators.

They also develop online and mobile casino software, including several card games. Since developing native apps for all the platforms would be a cumbersome task, ComTrade relies on HTML5 for its mobile products instead.

This means that no iPad gambler, Windows Phone casino visitor or Android blackjack player must do without the company’s games.

ComTrade’s Live Casino product also allows operators to offer punters a very realistic gaming experience via Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack casinos online.

The company has also ventured into developing social games for Facebook. According to unconfirmed industry rumors, ComTrade’s future plans include developing the best free no download slot for leading online slots operators.

Commenting on the news, Director of Products and Solutions, Ales Gornjec said: “We have been issued with a category two license, which means that we are now able to provide customers with our platforms integrated with best of breed content, either through a cloud based service or dedicated customer environments. This represents a huge step for us as a company and this move comes from the desire to expand our leading product offering on a global level and in to new markets.”
