New Live Tournaments schedule for 2009!

While everyone loves playing Blackjack in pajamas at their favorite internet casino, there’s still something about real live games that online gaming can’t capture. It’s important to get out to a casino now and then for some live games.

The best way to do this is to join one of the major tournaments in your area. There are some great prizes offered, and the experience is really unbeatable. We’ve done some research for you, and have just posted a schedule that outlines the top tournaments throughout North America for the first half of 2009!

Below are the 11 biggest and baddest Blackjack tournaments happening during the next few months. Many are in Vegas, but there are also listings for Atlantic City in New Jersey, Robinsville in Mississippi, and Niagra Falls Ontario, Canada. Some tournaments are Open, which means anyone can jump in, while others are Invitational, which means they are smaller and open only to invited guests (though with Invitationals, there’s often a way to get yourself invited).

These are high-stakes tournaments, with cumulative prize pools of almost two million dollars. First place winners in some of these will take home $50,000 as a reward for playing cards for the weekend! We only picked the top-paying events, so the lowest first-prize is still a whopping $15,000.

Many of the tournaments have entry fees, but there are also several that are absolutely free. All include lodging, and perhaps even meals during the event. The free tournaments are a fantastic deal – you get to stay free, play Blackjack all day, and try your hand at winning life-changing prizes!
