Galaxy S Blaze 4G

The Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is to hit T-Mobile USA stores in late March offering great mobile gambling opportunities.

The collaboration between Samsung and T-Mobile USA continues as they announce yet another joint droid – the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G. Only a few weeks left until the official release date in late March.

The new smartphone will treat fans of mobile casinos to a 3.97 inch SuperAMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core CPU running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chipset. The phone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but expect Ice Cream Sandwich update pretty soon.

The new Android casinos gambling tool features two cameras: a 5MP snapper with 720p video recording capabilities and a 1.3MP front camera to enhance those long video chatting sessions.

Fans of mobile casino games will also be able to enjoy TeleNav GPS Navigator within the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, which offers voice-guided navigation. It is yet unclear if the app will be free or not.

T-Mobile and Samsung did a great job stuffing the Galaxy S Blaze 4G with all those features. Recent research showcased that nearly 80 percent of smartphone owners are less likely to use other devices such as cameras, GPS units and others in addition to their phones.

Fans of mobile casino gambling will be able to lay their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G in T-Mobile USA stores, at various dealers and retailers starting from late March. A 2-year contract obligation will allow mobile gamers to get the phone for $150 following a $50 mail-in rebate.

New countries on Bet 24's radar, as they seek to develop their games

Gambling expansion

Bet 24 expands its business with mobile poker games to new countries.

Swedish gambling business Bet 24 is looking to expand its reach in the coming weeks, after announcing that they are seeking to introduce games in up to fourteen new countries, according to the latest casino gambling news.

The announcement that Bet 24 is ready to offer additional countries the option of using their mobile poker games, comes as mobile casinos are hitting an all time high, and rapidly growing in popularity.

Having set up established mobile casino gambling operations successfully in the United Kingdom, France and Austria, Bet 24 are looking to branch out further into Europe. Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland and their native Sweden are all countries where the mobile poker games are earmarked for success, with the application now available to download in the countries.

Speaking on behalf of Bet 24, the Swedish company’s Poker Manager, Lars Kollind had the following to say about the sudden announcement: “Mobile has been a true success story for us with thousands of downloads since launch. I have studied the development carefully and am proud to say that mobile poker generates growth without cannibalizing current poker revenues from PC and Mac.”

It is widely reported that up to 55 percent of Europe’s population will be able to benefit, should they decide they want to, from Bet 24′s new mobile poker application. Though this may dwindle with certain countries tightening their grip around regulating online gambling such as online casinos, and online blackjack.

Mr. Kollind added that, “we are really glad that the customers like our product and use it on a daily basis.”

As more and more mobile gaming applications find their way across the internet, Bet 24 could be in for some tough competition from other businesses, but for the moment, the move is believed to be one of the biggest branch outs in the short-life of mobile gaming, with potentially hundreds of thousands of players now able to access the mobile poker application.

Universal Entertainment Corp have decided to take legal action against Wynn Resorts

Kazuo Okada

There is a battle on the cards as Universal Entertainment Corp fight back.

Hot in the casino gambling news this week is a bitter struggle between two factions, once united in business. Earlier in the week Wynn Resorts Ltd. forcefully redeemed Japanese billionaire Kazuo Okada’s Universal Entertainment Corp 31 percent stage in the business.

The drama unfolded as Wynn Resorts, a major Las Vegas casino operator, claimed that Kazuo Okada had made improper payments to overseas gambling regulators. As well as redeeming their share, Wynn Resorts also filed a lawsuit against Mr. Okada, citing breaches of fiduciary duty, as well as a formal request for his resignation from the board.

However, biting back, Japanese tycoon Okada and Universal Entertainment Corp have stressed that they will take all the legal action necessary to protect its investment inside Wynn Resorts, as yet another sign of a deteriorating relationship between the Japanese tycoon and Steve Wynn, founder of Wynn Resorts.

Okada strongly denies violating U.S. anti-corruption laws and denies offering cash and gifts in excess of $110,000 to gambling regulators in the Philippines. An accusation leveled at them from Wynn Resorts.

Universal released a statement earlier today that said the following: “The decision by the Wynn board, which followed a rushed investigation that lacks absolute findings, to redeem Universal Entertainment’s nearly 20 percent holdings in Wynn Resorts based on its project in the Philippines is outrageous. We have not even been provided with the opportunity to review the report by Wynn’s investigation committee.”

According to Okada, the sum of $110,000 were for complimentary accommodations, to Okada’s business associates, and not illegal gambling payments. Mr. Okada also apologized to the regulators for dragging them into the row, this afternoon whilst he was in Manila, Philippines.

As Universal’s share plunged this morning in Tokyo, the argument continues. Though it isn’t the first time Wynn and Okada have been at loggerheads. After helping finance the company, back in 1998, Okada had his vice-chairmanship removed just last year, after accusing Wynn of improprieties regarding a Macau university donation. The latest move by Wynn appears to be a tit-for-tat battle, and with a potential double legal issue mounting, the casino gambling scene is starting to heat up.

Now you can have both land-based casino experience combined with modern technology. Play blackjack online with a live dealer.

Live dealers

Some gamblers prefer land-based casinos, others go to play online. What if you like both?

There is in fact a Difference between play in casino and online versions. However, some wise men thought of a strategy that combines both, bringing casino experience up on the evolutionary ladder. The DNA of Casino operations has changed permanently.

No longer you need to travel long distance, to places like las Vegas or Macau, for quality land-based casino experience. At the same time you don’t have to experience monkey-like graphical displays at online casinos as technology improved. Even modern mobile slots offer rich graphics.

But, imagine playing with your electronic device, such as iPad, while pursuing a more interactive Casino Strategy at the same time. As human innovation has no limits, now you can play blackjack or other games with a live dealer online.

Furthermore, the card decks get reshuffled just like in a real casino, so card counting is possible. This is a significant change from older versions of online gambling where counting the cards wasn’t possible. There is no ”black box” mystery as there is live dealing, not random computer numbers generation.

The impact of live dealing is so strong that quality online casinos started offering live dealing. Take, for example, Bet365 Casino. This large betting establishment offers multiple games online with a live dealer. Now, you can play live Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, or Sic Bo. The dealer deals live and oversees the game. You can see what’s happening while online.

Both online comfort and real dealer combination. This is truly revolutionary.

A freelance article has warned gamblers against cheating, with severe consequences possible under American gambling laws.

Found across many casino gambling news sites this week, has been the inclusion of a freelance article, by writer John Grochowski, that details that cheating the casino is the worst type of gamble a gamer might ever make.

In his article, originally published for the Chicago Sun Times ahead of the upcoming Third Annual Chicago Poker Classic tournament, Mr. Grochowski has penned a short article which details how one gambler, in an unnamed casino recently broke the blackjack rules, by cheating the casino at a blackjack table.

Mr. Grochowski claims to have been told of the event by a reader, who in turn claims that a man, sitting next to him playing blackjack at the table shafted the casino dealer. The culprit had an 11 in his hand, with the dealer allegedly holding a five. The player then placed a double or less bet, with a larger stack than his original bet, which clearly is an illegal move in blackjack.

The dealer, according to the report, was unconcerned, after spending the duration of the play whining about her break, and was allegedly bored. Not noticing the cheating gamer’s actions, when he won the hand, she went on to the pay the gamer the double for less, plus his original bet, despite his larger stack stack behind his second bet.

This is an illegal blackjack strategy. The reader then went on to ask Mr. Grochowski if the casino would have been unhappy if they had caught the crook.

Mr. Grochowski replied: “Adding something extra to a double-down bet is cheating just as surely as past posting in roulette — putting down a wager after the winning number is known — or trying to add chips to your main blackjack bet after seeing your cards. Casino personnel from the dealer to the surveillance room are trained to look for scams like that.”

The author of the freelance article believes that had the dealer been actively alert, then she would have noticed the sly move, and told him to adjust his bet. Mr. Grochowski also stated that had security seen the action, they may have told him to return his winnings, or possibly have reprimanded him by calling in the police, had they noticed a pattern, for cheating.

The author went on to warn all gamblers at the end of his piece, that cheating is the worst kind of a gamble that any gambler can commit, and if caught they face being barred and blacklisted from other casinos, or possibly even being arrested on a felony charge. He ended his piece by stating, that “the potential consequences are far greater than the gain. Don’t even try.”

Gambler jailed

A Seattle illegal gambler and gang leader is locked away after being found guilty of his crimes.

Fresh in the casino gambling news this week, is the story that a Seattle based gang leader has been sent to prison for twenty five years, following the killing of an alleged rival to an illegal drug and gambling operation.

Mr. Quy Nguyen has been convicted of second degree murder with a firearm, the manufacture of marijuana, and conspiracy to commit organized crime, the Seattle Times reported.

U.S. District Court Judge Ricardo Martinez, carried out the sentence on Nguyen at the start of the weekend, by declaring the suspect guilty of the crimes mentioned, and stating he will serve twenty five years. Nguyen had already pleaded guilty to the charge of second degree murder with a firearm and and conspiracy to commit organized crime, back in October last year.

Federal investigators stated that Mr. Nguyen had controlled the Young Seattle Boyz street gang for over a decade, with hard violence. It is during this time that he and the gang laundered millions of dollars from the manufacture of marijuana, as well as participated in illegal drug trafficking and for flouting the gambling laws. According to several Federal court papers, Mr. Nguyen was also referred to as The Godfather, The Old Man and The Boss.

Mr. Nguyen was convicted alongside Jerry Henry Thomas II and Le Nhu Le, for the murder of Hoang Nguyen in 2007. It is felt that Quy Nguyen viewed his business in marijuana grow houses, a threat to his illegal empire.

Thomas was charged in November for the murder, and received a total of 23 years time. Le, who spoke out against Nguyen and Thomas, received a five year sentence, whilst a one Kristine Nguyen was also convicted and sentenced, for assisting in money laundering.

Speaking after the trial, Federal prosecutors claimed Mr. Nguyen admitted “a long-term pattern of violence that was designed to maintain the profitability of his marijuana and illegal gambling enterprises.”

In a change of heart at the final hour, Mr. Nguyen decided to plea not guilty, claiming that his court interpretor gave him incorrect information and advice, and that his public defenders were not forthcoming on his case. It didn’t matter though, as Judge Martinez stated that, Nguyen was “clearly aware of what he was pleading guilty to and the consequences of the plea.”

Seven blackjack players competed for a million dollars in winnings. Just one player won $10,000. The rest left in great disappointment.

$1m blackjack

This was the chance of a lifetime for many blackjack players and other soldiers of fortune hoping for a quick million.

The big news was announced last December by a major casino resort in Las Vegas. The revelation, as reported by casino gambling news, was perhaps too good to be true… but it could happen. Yes, as the land-based casino announced, lucky blackjack players will be given a shot at winning $1,000,000.

The entry requirement was simple: get the casino to deal you a blackjack and you will enter for a chance to win the loot. Seven lucky gamblers qualified.

So the Black Jack Tournament began and the Lucky 7 played and played. The result was quite disappointing. Only one of them won and it was a relatively petty $10,000.

As rumored, some players traveled a long distance and left Vegas empty handed. No Blackjack Tricks helped. Nothing. The casino will keep $990,000.

Maybe the casino will run another tournament. The truth is that blackjack and other players don’t need to travel to fabulous, yet too distant for many, Las Vegas. The options for blackjack or poker tournament participation are many. A gambler doesn’t even need to leave his or her home as Blackjack casino online opportunities are many.

So the advice is to practice and study best blackjack card counting books while scanning the online tournament opportunities. Don’t jump into fire at once, play and learn in small steps. Who knows, you may eventually become a blackjack champion.

Gangster gambling

You do not want to sit down and play card games with this man. John K. will take your money even when you get 4 aces at poker or score 21 at blackjack. Beating him at these games is an insult and you will pay with your life.

John K., a deranged Jakarta mobster, is an avid card games player and will do all that is necessary to ensure winning. His blackjack strategy is simple: his counterpart, or a victim as that word is more proper, can never win. John K. may not know how to count cards, but he knows very well how to wield a gun should anyone dare to present a winning hand.

One day, Tan T., 50-year-old chicken farmer and blackjack player, felt that this is not right, and the one who is better at these games of skill should win. After learning all he could about blackjack rules, Mr. Tan entered an illegal casino in Jakarta slums, hoping to win some money in order to expand his chicken farm.

The bad news was that he sat against violent Mr. John K., who while smoking speed with a fallen Indonesian movie star, mindlessly threw an undisclosed but large amount of money, on a blackjack bet and lost. Mr. Tan, in great excitement, and against advice of machete-armed thugs, quickly left the casino. The bad news was that he was followed.

The next morning the blackjack winner woke up after hearing wild animal voices. What that reminded him of was the carnage he had seen years ago in Aceh province. No, this wasn’t a Black Jack Tournament or killing, but something that made even Mr. Tan cry: he saw his chickens dead and a bloody note posted on the cut-off head of his favorite mule.

The note explained that he now owns back his blackjack winnings plus ”interest” for a total of Rp 600 million ($65,000) to be repaid within two days. The rest of the story is already known: Mr. Tan was brutally murdered for daring to be better at Blackjack cards than his dreadful opponent.

As sometimes justice is done, the Indonesian police already arrested the gangster.

Even Las Vegas sees few such shocking events. A rich party girl wins at a blackjack table beating old Vegas players at their own game.

As usual, Paris Hilton likes to shock the world and Tweet about it hoping paparazzi will take notice and the world media will hail to her accomplishments. Always following gambling world’s events, casino gambling news brings a shocking story.

The news is that Paris Hilton actually won $30,000 playing blackjack against all the odds of facing card counting system champions that make a living ripping apart inexperienced sheep at Vegas casinos.

How did she do it? It is not known, and perhaps never will be, but she did it. As rumored, one master blackjack player, hoping to skin the socialite out of her ”fun” money, froze in terror as Paris kept on scoring perfect 21s. Even Vegas table games dealers don’t recall such events.

Hilton came to Vegas to celebrate her 31st birthday. Many casino managers were hoping for a big real money win , looking to score on losing bets Hilton was expected to produce. She didn’t. It is speculated that she could have hired previously the worlds’ top blackjack players to give her some Blackjack Tips to apply at a table.

As Paris Hilton exclaimed, ”I love gambling!” So, all of you, beware. If Paris shows up at your local casino, run away and go to online blackjack sites for some Free Online Blackjack play opportunities.

Indian reservations could miss out on the online poker law overhaul, if the current laws are not amended.

Tribal gambling

Native American tribes may not benefit from state regulated online poker laws.

Whilst everyone is busying themselves wondering if and when online poker may be legalized on an intra-state basis, there are reports in the casino gambling news, that it could be the Native Americans and their tribal gaming, that will lose out in the long run, due to varying state gambling laws.

Recently, a State Committee hearing has been held to see if Nevada should continue wishing to adopt online poker legislation in the state. This could mean that Indian reservations could miss out on the potential cash pot, due to current absence of laws that allow the reservations to accept bets from anyone outside of the tribal territories.

Patrick Fleming, in a statement released for the Poker Players Alliance on the subject, said that the current Indian Gaming Regulatory Act does not suffice for such changes, and that the Indian tribes on the Indian reservations would need to apply for state government permission, in order to offer online games for those gamers that happen to be outside of the tribal regions.

At present, the Poker Players Alliance is currently lobbying for online poker to be legal at a federal level, though it is reported that should that cease to happen, then the alliance would also be willing to settle for individual state regulations, with a very “we’ll take it how we can get it” type of attitude.

That being said however, the issue of Indian tribal gaming may be raised, should individual states adopt their own online gaming laws, and refuse to deal with the issue of gambling on Indian lands.

It is felt that should this occur, then Indian gaming could only continue outside of the reservations, should the tribes apply to Congress for the clearance of new legislation permitting them to offer online games outside of their lands. It can be argued that as little as 1% of tribal revenue comes from gambling, although on the other side of the argument, that 1% could rapidly deteriorate, as the reservations would not be able to compete with the much larger state run ventures, should they become a reality.

Mr. Fleming added to the debate, that “there are really only two questions that matter with respect to future state online gambling laws and Tribal gaming interests. Those are, what games will be allowed and will Tribal gaming operations be able to compete in the offering of those games.”

With the Senate currently listening to the matter, it may be clear that federal lawmakers do intend to bring the issue into question, when deciding any future legislation regarding online poker and online casinos. The worry comes though, if no new legislation is made at a federal level, and is instead handed to individual states to determine their own legislation, whether or not tribal gaming would be considered worthwhile to them.
