Illegal Gambling Spectators Arrested In California
Feb 14, 2012
Most of the American states crack down on illegal gambling operators. California takes one step further and arrests those who participate, or even watch, illicit gambling.
While betting on sports, including Mobile sports betting fascinates millions of punters worldwide, and is a legitimate way to wager, some gambling fellows just like to take a walk on the wild side.
To avoid getting bored on weekends in small provincial towns, some nice and always smiling folks like to do things they wouldn’t tell their God-fearing neighbors.
As reported by casino gambling news, many local folks in Riverside County, California have been sneaking out of their homes in wealthy suburban neighborhoods to wager some real cash on a brutal and illegal form of gambling, or as others might call it: sports betting.
While eating their hotdogs and drinking beers in an underground cockfighting ring, the apparently innocent bettors and spectators, many underage, ended up arrested together with the owners as police forcibly broke through the door. The sad news is that animal control officials needed to destroy nearly 40 aggressive and beaten roosters that still had razors attached to their feet.
In total, 28 people ended up arrested, $14,000 confiscated, and the ring destroyed.
As iPhone casinos and other mobile casino gambling tools may not offer a bloody show to deranged gamblers, mobile sports betting is a legitimate avenue in most places to bet on a variety of game outcomes that can be as exciting as watching cockfighting.
