LG Nexus 4 Release Date and Pricing Revealed

Google was forced to postpone its Android event due to Hurricane Sandy, but that didn’t prevent LG from unveiling the Nexus 4. Virtually all the rumors concerning the looks and specification of the new smartphone were confirmed.

Mobile casino players will get a 4.7 inch True HD IPS Plus display featuring 768×1280 WXGA resolution to play their favorite games on. The LG Nexus 4 runs on a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset featuring 1.5GHz quad-core Krait CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, and 2 GB of RAM. Impressive, guys.

The new Android casino monster is powered by the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and offers two memory capacities: 8GB and 16GB, sadly there’s no microSD card slot for further extension. The back of the phone has an 8MP snapper with a unique Photo Sphere feature, which works similar to panorama, but can shoot the photos in whatever direction the user wants to.

The 2,100mAh power source should be enough to run lengthy Android blackjack sessions, it promises over 15 hours of talk time and 390 hrs of standby. And yes, the smartphone supports wireless charging, which seems to be the latest craze.

The first LG Nexus 4 units will pop up in the Play Stores across USA, UK, Canada, France, Spain, Germany and Australia come November 13. The smartphone will hit the land-based stores in Europe, Asia, Central and South America, CIS, and the Middle East by the end of November.

As far as the pricing policy goes, the LG Nexus 4 with 8GB onboard will set back mobile gamers $299, and the 16GB one – $349, SIM-free that is. Naturally, the contract deals will also be available, but the only one we know of – T-Mobile USA – doesn’t look like a very good one: $199 with 2-year contract.
