HTC One Release Date Delay Confirmed by Executives
Mar 20, 2013
HTC One delayed
The HTC One delay has been officially confirmed due to lack of components, further hindering the Taiwanese giant’s stand.
HTC has been enjoying the profit and revenues waves thanks to their innovative mobile casino devices up until 2012. The manufacturer was putting a lot of hopes into the upcoming flagship One. Unfortunately, the fate of One suffers blow after blow further endangering HTC.
The next Android casino tamer was expected to launch in March, but was delayed due to lack of components. Currently, the manufacturer’s executives are confirming the delay rumors, saying they will deliver the pre-ordered devices by the end of March, and start to hit new markets in April. The delay means HTC will have less and less time to win over the market before Samsung’s Galaxy S4 comes out.
As for the components to blame for the delays – they are the two that will actually make the mobile casino games tool stand out among competition. The aluminum unibody and the UltraPixel camera sensor.
Here’s what an HTC exec has told The Wall Street Journal: “The company has a problem managing its component suppliers as it has changed its order forecasts drastically and frequently following last year’s unexpected slump in shipments. HTC has had difficulty in securing adequate camera components as it is no longer a tier-one customer.”
The success of the HTC One will also play a part in whether the current CEO, Peter Chou, leaves the company or not. We sincerely hope that HTC gets their act together, as their smartphones are among the best devices on the market.
