Nokia Lumia 928
The Android 4.2.2 upgrade for the HTC Butterfly is coming shortly, currently the system dump is already available.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is basically a Lumia 920 stuffed with extra bells and whistles. The newest Windows mobile gambling device comes with an 8.7MP image sensor featuring optical stabilization and 26mm wide-angle lens from Carl Zeiss with F/2.0 aperture.
The Lumia 928 also features a Xenon flash next to the usual LED flash unit, which is a remarkable setting, taking into account that the new smartphone is only 0.5mm thicker that the original 920. The upcoming Windows mobile casino tamer is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps and capturing sounds up to 140dB through its HAAC wide dynamic range microphone units.
Other changes include a switch to an AMOLED screen with ClearBlack tech and High Brightness mode with up to 500 nits of brightness. The display is still the 4.5 inch unit with 768x1280p unit found in the Lumia 920 mobile casino games monster. And yes, it’s still ultra-sensitive and will work with gloves and fingernails.
The majority of other features is identical to the Lumia 920: Windows Phone 8 OS, 1.5GHz dual-core Krait CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a 2,000mAh battery. Naturally, there’s 4G LTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and wireless charging support as well. As usual the mobile casino device comes with lots of Nokia-exclusive apps including HERE Drive+ navigation, Transit, Music, City Lens, and much more.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is expected to hit the Verizon shelves on May 16 and will cost $100 on a 2-year deal after a $50 mail-in rebate. The carrier will also give a $25 voucher for the Windows Marketplace, but for a limited time only.
