United Bingo releases iOS versions of its popular bingo sites.
UK-based United Bingo is the latest company to make mobile bingo players happy.
The company behind the individually branded sites – Silk Bingo, Moon Bingo, Gossip Bingo, Robin Hood Bingo, Polo Bingo, Spectra Bingo and Glorious Bingo – has recently announced the launch of their iPhone mobile gambling platform.
United’s new casino site, Moon Games, will also be available on mobile.
“Now players from every United brand can enjoy their favourite slots and bingo games on-the-go. Considering mobile gambling has seen a huge increase in the last year, we are very pleased with the launch of our new acquisition and retention channel,” explained company CEO, Adi Frum.
Indeed, the UK market for mobile gaming is big. On one hand, there are over 14 million smartphone owners using their devices to play games. On the other hand, a third of those who gamble in the virtual space use their smartphones for this activity.
Although the selection is already available for iPhones, the iPad gambling option is only partially available. “Moon Bingo is now also available on iPad and we will roll out the rest of our brands on tablets by Q4 this year,” promised Frum.
The company isn’t abandoning its traditional online presence either. After all, two thirds of the online players still rely on the good ol’ personal computer to place their bets, spin the reels or call full house.
Consequently, United Bingo will continue to support and develop its sites with enhanced features to be announced further down the road. This they do with their Gibraltar-licensed partner Dragonfish, who are responsible for United’s bingo brands.
