Leander Games strikes “landmark deal” with PokerStars owner Rational Group.
After signing an agreement with the Rational Group, the company behind the popular PokerStars site, Leander Games is going to provide an online casino platform for Full Tilt Poker. In addition, the website will also offer new games, including online blackjack and roulette.
The technical integration of Leander’s LaGa gaming platform has already started and a fresh selection of online and mobile casino software will be available soon. The website already has 21 million registered users and is currently testing blackjack and roulette applications, which will attract even more players.
From newcomer to “serious contender”
The new software should be available starting this spring and Leander chief executive officer Steven Matsell considers the partnership to be a “landmark deal”. PokerStars is well-known among gamblers around the world and Leander will certainly gain a lot of popularity by working with the company.
“This partnership will change Leander’s position within the marketplace from ‘new kid on the block’ to a serious contender,” Matsell thinks.
“We are a small but dedicated team who live and breathe delivering the best games possible and this deal is testament to the quality of our offering. We are excited about the next few months as we work on our biggest venture to date,” he added.
