iPokerChips, a new gambling app for iPhone and iPad, creates new opportunities for mobile gambling.

If you are one of those people who find cards without stakes boring, now there is an iPhone app for that.

iPokerChips is a new mobile gambling application from Sunshine Lab Experiments, released September 30th. These are the same professional developers who delivered Tom Clancy’s “Rainbow Six” and “Splinter Cell”. Their new software enables you to play poker wherever you carry a deck of cards and a group of between two and ten friends.

Take note that a real deck of cards is still required as this application won’t actually deal for you. Nor will it play against you or enable you to play in an online poker game or connect you to online casinos. The application is not an iPhone poker game or full-fledged iPhone casino and only serves to replace the physical chips.

No, not only that. It also saves the players with their holdings and tags the players according to their skill level. Moreover, players can view, in terms of percentages, the frequency with which they call, raise (both before and after the flop), or fold. This can all be used to determine how well they have been playing. Furthermore, it can help novice poker players understand the rules of the game.

iPokerChips is currently available in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese.
