Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will not be sold in Europe, after German court issues a preliminary injunction.

Having already stopped Samsung from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia, Steve Jobs and his loyal battalion of lawyers, has disappointed all European mobile casino fans by celebrating yet another victory in Europe. A German court decided that Galaxy Tab 10.1 will not be sold on the old continent (except Netherlands).

The units already shipped to selling points are allowed to go on sale, yet there will be no resupplies. Samsung could face a fine of up to €250,000 for each violation. The court’s ruling is a preliminary injunction, final decision is expected shortly.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 was supposed to bring regulars of Android casinos lots of fun, yet for now its only frustration over not being able to purchase the gadget. Apple and Samsung are involved in legal action against each other in a number of other countries including United States.

Casino gambling news quotes a short excerpt from Samsung’s statement, after the German court ruling: “Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world.”

The statement also says: “We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung’s innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world. This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere.”
