HTC One XL and S to get Jelly Bean
Jelly Bean for HTC

According to the latest rumors the HTC One XL and One S are about to be updated to Android Jelly Bean in Australia.

The Galaxy Nexus became the first smartphone to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, and now more devices are bound to follow its footsteps. Australian fans of mobile casinos report that one of their country’s wireless carriers Telstra suggested that HTC devices are next.

Naturally, the best-of-the-best will be updated first: the HTC One S and One XL. Both smartphones are based on Snapdragon S4 chipsets, and offer users high quality mobile casino games experience. However, with the Jelly Bean update, they could potentially bring mobile gambling on a whole new level.

You might ask why is HTC One X not listed? Well, it’s really easy – Telstra doesn’t sell One X, only the XL version, that’s why there’s no mentioning of that particular device. It doesn’t mean, however, that the HTC One X isn’t getting the Jelly Bean.

The suggested information on the provider’s website is extremely limited, it only stipulates that HTC is working on the update, but doesn’t tell Android casinos fans when exactly they will get the new Android OS. Moreover, the carrier itself will first test the update before passing it onto the customers.

Currently there’s no international roadmap describing which HTC smartphones in what countries and when will receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, so BlackjackChamp.com will report each news individually. Stay tuned for further updates.
