New Nexus confirmed to debut on October 29
Nexus 4 confirmed

It’s widely expected that the next Nexus device will be unveiled at the Google event on October 29, now it’s confirmed.

Industry experts and sneaky mobile casino gamers have already suggested that the Google event scheduled for October 29 will present the next Nexus device to the world. The smartphone will be manufactured by LG and is currently codenamed “Nexus 4”.

In a recent interview to IBN Live Amit Gujral, the Head of Mobile Product Planning at LG, accidentally confirmed the rumors. The exec stated that the device does exist and it will be unveiled to the world on October 29 at the Google Android event.

Amit Gujral also mentioned that Indian Android casino fans will be able to get the device “by the end of November”, saying nothing about the global release of the Nexus 4. Well, some information is better than no information at all.

The LG exec also provided some hints as to what the specifications of the upcoming device will be. The Nexus 4 will indeed become the first device to run on the upcoming Android 4.2 (Nexus devices are usually the frontrunners of newest OS).

Other features of the much anticipated smartphone will include a 4.7 inch 1280×768 screen, 2GB of RAM, a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU (most likely on an S4 Pro chipset), and an 8MP snapper. The built in memory is rather shortcoming: it will be ranging from 8GB to 16GB, and sadly there’s no microSD card slot.
