Hi Lo Premium Review: An Introduction
The simplest online table game to play is probably Hi-Lo Premium. Players must accurately anticipate whether the concealed card is higher or lower than the revealed card in the Playtech game, which uses just 12 cards. The game’s RTP ranges from 97.17% at the low end to 97.5% at the high end. Read our Hi-Lo Premium guide to find out everything you need to know about the game.
Although Hi Lo Premium is not a blackjack variant, it is still one of the most exciting games to play online. It has incredibly simple rules to play, requiring players to only guess if a card will be higher or lower than the previous one. If you want to play blackjack, you may want to freshen up your knowledge of the game, reading up on the basic blackjack rules of the game.
How to play Hi-Lo Premium
There are only twelve cards in a regular deck used in Playtech’s Hi-Lo Premium game. The cards are the 2, 6, Jack of Hearts, 3, 7, Queen of Spades, 4, 8, King of Diamonds, and 5, Ace of Clubs. That indicates the numbers 2 to 9 and J to A are in play, along with three cards of each suit.
The cards are dealt face down and shuffled before each round. One of the cards is picked at random and turned over. The player can set their stake and place a wager after the card is revealed.
Bet Choices
By using the “Stake Up” and “Stake Down” buttons, the player will have the option of changing their stake. The right side of your screen has these buttons. The player has nine distinct betting options to choose from after establishing the stake. The bet choices that are offered in Hi-Lo Premium are covered here.
- Lower – this is a bet that the next card will have a lower value than the revealed card.
- Higher – this is a bet that the next card will have a higher value than the revealed card.
- Snap – this is a bet that the next card picked will have the same value as the revealed card.
- Ace – this is a bet that pays if the next card is the Ace of Clubs.
- Ace or King – this is a bet that pays if the next card is either the Ace of Clubs or the King Diamonds.
- Black – this is a bet that pays if the next card is either a Club or a Spade.
- Red – this is a bet that pays if the next card is either a Diamond or a Heart.
- Jack to Ace – this is a bet that pays if the next card is either a Jack, a Queen, a King or an Ace.
- 2 to 9 – this is a bet that pays if the next card is either a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.

Save Some or Take All
You can wager on one of the nine possibilities in each round of the Hi-Lo game from Playtech. While the Ace, Ace or King, Jack to Ace, Black, Red, and 2 to 9 buttons are located on the left side of your screen, the Higher, Lower, and Snap buttons are located just beneath the cards. Stake Up and Stake Down buttons are located on the right side of the screen, where the stake is set.
You will be able to select the “Save Some” or “Take All” buttons if you correctly predicted the result of a round. Just beneath the stake buttons are these two buttons. You can add all or a portion of your victory to your stored balance by selecting one of these buttons. Your stake balance resets to zero if you select a losing bet choice. Your total balance is increased by the stored balance, which is also reset to zero. You can then place a wager and select your bet selections once more.
