America Samsung Galaxy S II gets ICS
ICS found SGS II

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II has been released by T-Mobile USA.

Mobile casino fun is about to reach new heights for American owners of the former Samsung flagship – Galaxy S II. The waiting time for those opting for an officially released update is finally over. T-Mobile USA has officially released the latest update for the extremely popular smartphone.

Although clever mobile casino games players could install the update manually for a long time now, the legitimate way is always the best one. The Ice Cream Sandwich is bound to bring never-before-seen gambling experience to the Galaxy S II.

The update in question is not an out-right OTA update, the Korean giant and T-Mobile will need customers to carry out the upgrade via Kies software and a PC.

In order to receive the update, Android casino gamblers will need to download and install the Kies program onto their PCs, plug in the Samsung Galaxy S II through a USB cable (look out for USB debugging to be on) and hit “Accept”. Please note, that in order to receive Ice Cream Sandwich, the Galaxy S II needs to be running the Android 2.3.6.

The Ice Cream Sandwich will not delete all the data on the smartphone including apps, contacts and others, but it will put the “home screen” setting back to default. In any case, it’s always a good idea to back up all the data before such an update.
