The main attraction of the upcoming Motorola XT316 phone will naturally be its low price. Although no official price has yet been named, Motorola positions this phone as “budget”, so mobile casinos regulars should expect reasonable pricing. The Motorola XT316 will be competing with the likes of LG Optimus Pro C660, Nokia E5, BlackBerry Curve 3G and HTC ChaCha.

The new smartphone features a full Qwerty keyboard and is run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Fans of Android casinos will be delighted to know that the phone is powered by a 600MHz CPU ARM 11 with Adreno 200 GPU.

Motorola will sell the XT316 in Latin America under the name “Spice Key” and in Europe under the name “Fire”. Mobile gamers in China can already grab the phone in stores throughout the country. Citizens of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Latin America will have to wait until the end of July. No official word has been given however on the European availability.
