Apple wants to ban Samsung Galaxy S III
Apple vs SGSIII

Apple enters a new level of patent wars with Samsung by requesting a ban on Galaxy S III sales in the United States.

The moment all real money Android casino regulars have feared has arrived: Apple lawyers filed a motion with a request to stop the Samsung Galaxy S III from selling in the United States. The move is just another strike in the patent wars between the two giants, and was actually anticipated by experts, despite the Cupertino company being a bit too quiet recently.

The Samsung flagship is already heading for all five major American carriers, scheduled to arrive on June 21. Should the requested ban be approved, a lot of angry mobile casino games fans, who have already pre-ordered the device, will be left stranded facing major delays of their smartphones.

The Galaxy S III has been simply added to the Apple’s motion for an injunction of the Galaxy Nexus sales. Apple lawyers claim that the international version of the Galaxy S III infringes several patents, which are also a part of the Galaxy Nexus case. The patents in question focus on smart links and universal search.

Samsung lawyers claim that a separate motion is required for the Galaxy S III, plus the two day notice the legal team was given is hardly enough according to them.
