Padfone Infinity

MWC in Barcelona delivers more great news – the Asus Padfone Infinity has just been officially announced.

The Asus Padfone Infity makes an official appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new mobile casino gambling device replaces the Padfone 2, heavily improving on specifications and functionality.

The new Android casino monster catches up to the latest trend and comes with a 5 inch 1080p display with 441ppi density. However, not only the smartphone part has been improved, but the tablet dock station too: it now boasts a 10.1 inch screen with very impressive 1920×1200 resolution. Both displays are covered with special anti-fingerprint coating.

The Asus Padfone Infinity upps the stakes in power department too: it’s now a Snapdragon 600 SoC with a quad-core 1.7Ghz Krait 300 CPU. Other features include a 13MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture, which is capable of up to 100 shots at 8fps in burst mode and 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is a 2MP unit also with f/2.0 aperture.

Not only the insides have been improved, but the exterior aesthetics too: the device is now made of aero-space grade aluminum sporting a brushed finish and anodizing (twice, a friendly wink to HTC). The phone comes with a 2,400mAh battery, while the tablet dock has an impressive 5,000mAh unit: just imagine how long will your mobile casino games sessions last.

The sounds on the tablet dock have also been improved with a 3rd gen Sonic Master and a special Audio wizard, which provides multiple preset modes.

In terms of connectivity, the combo delivers 100Mbps LTE and NFC. 64GB of built-in storage is available plus 50GB of cloud space. The Asus Padfone Infinity should hit the stores in April 2013 for around $1,325, but don’t forget that you’re getting a smartphone and a tablet for that price.
