RIM BlackBerry 10 OS is almost an urban tale by now, but the platform has finally received an official release date for next year.

BlackBerry mobile gambling fanatics will be able to enjoy the perks of BlackBerry 10 OS as early as January 30 next year. RIM is even planning a multitude of events scheduled to take place across the globe simultaneously to mark the launch.

Along with the brand new platform, RIM is planning to launch the first two smartphones running on the brand spanking new OS and optimized for BlackBerry casino gambling.

The new BlackBerry 10 is supposed to bring a lot of features and perks with it. To quote the company the platform will feature “a large catalog of the leading applications from across the globe and across all categories.” On top of that the FIPS 140-2 certification will also be included, meaning government agencies can switch to the new OS right away.

As for the two devices, which are generating a lot of buzz right now at mobile casino forums, it’s very likely we’ve seen them both already thanks to rumors and leaked pics. The L-Series with a touchscreen, and a conventional QWERTY-featuring N-Series. The Aristo smartphone is also in the works according to rumors. It packs a 4.65 inch AMOLED screen with 720p resolution and a quad-core Krait CPU.

RIM went as far as to mention that the upcoming devices are currently being tested by over 50 carriers all over the world, meaning there will be a pretty wide launch.
