LG Optimus L3 Dual release confirmed

An entry-level Android device from LG featuring dual-SIM capabilities goes on sale in India at a very affordable price.

Android mobile casino gambling doesn’t have to be done on extremely expensive devices. LG has once again proven that. The LG Optimus L3 E405 (or Dual) went on sale in India at an online retailer for roughly $150.

Besides the low price, the main attraction of the new smartphone is its dual-SIM capabilities eliminating the need of constantly changing SIM cards when traveling. The device will compete with Samsung’s budget Droids with dual-SIMs: Galaxy Ace Duos, and Galaxy Y Duos.

The new smartphone isn’t shining in the specs department, but does, however, offer an acceptable level of mobile casino games experience. The phone comes with an 800MHz CPU, 384MB of RAM, 1GB of built-in storage, and a 1500mAh battery.

The device will also offer mobile casino enthusiasts a 3MP snapper, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box. Hopes for an Ice Cream Sandwich update are very slim indeed.

The LG Optimus L3 Dual is almost the same as its single-SIM brother, except that the home button was replaced by four capacitive touch keys. Three usual Android buttons, and the active SIM toggling one.
