Galaxy Nexus Mobile Casinos to receive Flash support by the end of the year

The absence of Flash support in Galaxy Nexus Mobile Casinos lies in the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The latest Android is so new, that Adobe is a little bit late with its update of Flash, but the company promised all fans of mobile casinos that the necessary upgrade is coming until 2011 is through.

Here’s a little excerpt from the official Adobe statement: “Adobe will release one more version of the Flash Player for mobile browsing, which will provide support for Android 4.0, and one more release of the Flash Linux Porting Kit – both expected to be released before the end of this year.”

Better late than never of course, but it’s still a mystery why the software company took its time, when Ice Cream Sandwich was announced to fans of Android casinos months ago.

An industry expert shared his opinion, while waiting for the next mobile blackjack hand to be dealt: with this move Adobe underlines its strategy to gradually replace Flash with HTML5. This naturally, doesn’t mean that Flash support on Android will have to be sacrificed, yet the accent is clear. It remains to be seen just how better the HTML5 will perform compared to Flash. For now Galaxy Nexus mobile casinos will have to do without the Flash support, until the end of the year at least.

RIM apparently stated that the company plans to continue developing the Flash plug-in for their BlackBerry Playbook. This statement assures BlackBerry gambling fans that Flash can be expected in upcoming smartphones as well.
