Mobile gamers already knew the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet will be unveiled on August 15, but now Samsung has officially announced the device.

Samsung has sent out invitations to its August 15 event obviously hinting that the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet will be unveiled there. Now, fans of Android casinos received an official announcement from the Korean giant.

The brand new tablet is looking to boost mobile casino games enjoyment with its impressive specs. These include Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 4412 chipset with a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU, Mali 400MP GPU and 2GB of RAM. Way to go Samsung!

The tablet will provide mobile casino gamers with a 10.1 inch PLS TFT display with 1280×800 resolution and 149ppi. There will be 16 and 32GB versions of the device, both sporting a stylus named the S Pen with its own slot inside the tablet. As usual, the tablet comes with a set of exclusive apps designed to utilize the stylus: S Planner, S Note, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Crayon physics, Polaris Office, and others.

The new tablet sports a 5MP main camera with LED flash and a 1.9MP front snapper for video calls. MicroSD card slot is present, as well as the SIM card slot on 3G models.

The Samsung Galaxy Note will be available in white and silver colors. There will be a WiFi only model, a WiFi and 3G HSPA-Plus one, and later this year a WiFi plus LTE version is expected to debut. Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich powers the whole thing.

The new tablet will be initially available in Korea, USA, UK, and Germany, with other markets to follow pretty soon. European customers will have to pay EUR 479 for WiFi only models, and EUR 599 for the 3G versions.
