HTC Desire U announced
HTC Desire U

HTC Desire U is the latest budget Android based smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer.

HTC devices cover all segments of the mobile market from high-end, top notch smartphones to mid-range and low-end, budget smartphones. The latest addition to their Android casino tools lineup is the HTC Desire U, boasting low price and great specification.

The new device delivers a very familiar HTC design, unmistakably associated with the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer’s products. The new mobile casino games tamer offers a 4 inch 800×480 screen and is powered by 1GHz CPU with 512MB of RAM onboard.

Other features of the mobile casino games tool include 4GB of internal memory with a possibility to expand via a microSD card, 5MP snapper on the back with WVGA video recording capabilities, “usual” Beats Audio, and a 1,650mAh battery source. The whole thing is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The device has only been announced in China, but we really do hope HTC will introduce the Desire U internationally as well. So far no pricing policy or the exact release date have been announced, but judging by the specs we can expect a very moderate approach to pricing.

The HTC Desire U can be placed slightly above the recently announced Desire C, which once again confirms the fact that there truly is a smartphone for any kind of budget in the HTC lineup.
