HTC One

HTC One was officially revealed during simultaneous event, confirming most of the rumors about the flagship device.

Previously referred to as the M7, the HTC One becomes the new mobile casinos tamer from the Taiwanese company, and indeed it’s a great phone to own and operate.

The device sports a 4.7 inch Super LCD 3 screen with 1080p resolution and 469ppi density. In the power department the new Android casino monster has Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC inside, with a quad-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, and 2GB of RAM, impressive, isn’t it?

The specifications list goes on to include a 4MP Ultrapixels sensor, which is expected to deliver superior per-pixel quality and great low-light performance. The camera is capable of taking 1080p videos at 30fps including HDR. Other media premier is the gyroscope-relying optical image stabilization, which should dramatically improve video recording.

There will be two models of the HTC One – a 32GB unit, and a 64GB one, however, there’s no possibility to expand the memory with microSD card. The connectivity suit is very impressive indeed: Bluetooth 4, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS and GLONASS. The device is supplied with the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, but the 4.2.2. is said to be already in development.

Despite an enormous number of features packed into the HTC One, the device still remains very slim at 9.3mm. And it’s sleek too – made mostly out of aluminum. Another novelty are the dual stereo speakers, located on the front panel above and below the screen, and producing a very impressive 93db loud sounds.

The HTC One will be powered by a 2,300mAh non-removable battery, which seems to be a bit small, but time will tell. Interestingly enough, the smartphone’s lock/power button also functions as an IR port controlling home appliances and equipment.

As for the colors: the new smartphone will come in red, black, and silver shades. The expected release date is March, and the manufacturer has already confirmed deals with over 180 carriers worldwide, which could provide prospective buyers with an affordable pricing policy.
