Huawei Ascend D Quad release date
Huawei D Quad

The Huawei Ascend D Quad smartphone will hit the shelves on September 12, ending the long waiting period.

Following several delays, the Huawei Ascend D Quad has finally been officially confirmed. It can land in the hands of real money mobile casino fans as early as September 12.

The release delays were explained by Huawei’s trouble with their proprietary K3V2 chipset, however, it now seems the manufacturer managed to sort those problems out and promised Android casino enthusiasts to launch the smartphone in the coming days.

On Huawei’s home turf, China, the mobile casino games tamer will sell for $425, which is way higher than $315 asking price for similarly powerful Xiaomi Mi-Two quad-core smartphone. Huawei needs something extraordinary to convince customers to go for their baby instead of the competitor’s one.

Some industry experts suggest that the proprietary SoC, the K3V2, will offer that extra mile the Ascend D Quad needs to beat the Xiaomi Mi-Two in performance and sales figures. It remains to be seen just how powerful the chipset is, we will definitely report on its performance once it lands in the hands of testers.

So far, Huawei failed to announce the international release date for the Ascend D Quad. We really hope it will hit the shelves on a global scale rather sooner than later. After all, there’s no point keeping such a powerful beast confined to the Chinese market.
