Mobile casino gamers enjoying phoneblets now have another device at their disposal – the Huawei Ascend D2.

Call them phablets, call them phoneblets, the essence remains: these devices are too big to be called smartphones and too small to fall into the tablet category. Interestingly enough, these technological wonders are very much favored by mobile casino games enthusiasts, mainly because of more power, larger batteries and bigger screens than common smartphones.

Samsung led the way with its Galaxy Note, and continues to dominate with the fresh Galaxy Note II. LG and Pantech wasted no time in coming onto the market with their Android casino tamers – Optimus Vu and Vega R3. The Oppo joined with Find 5, and there are rumors of HTC working hard on their own phablet.

The latest newcomer onto the popular phoneblet market is Huawei. The Chinese manufacturer presented Ascend D2 – their view on how a modern phablet should look like and function. The device is scheduled to hit the stores in China in early 2013, international release date is still unknown.

The Huawei Ascend D2 will treat Android blackjack lovers to a 5 inch screen, a quad-core CPU with 1.5GHz speed, a whopping 13MP snapper on the back, 1.3 camera on the front panel, spacious 3000mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Stay tuned to learn the exact release date as well as the pricing policy for the mighty Huawei device.
