Huawei is showing off one new device after another, this time around it was Ascend Mate – a powerful smartphone with 6.1 inch screen.

The Chinese smartphone giant is serious about taking a piece of a juicy smartphone market for itself. Following the news of a 5 inch Ascend D2, there are already signs of a new mobile casino gambling device in the works.

Richard Yu, Huawei chairman, stepped into the company’s store in Guangzhou, China to play with Ascend Mate – a monstrous quad-core Android smartphone with a 6.1 inch screen featuring 1080p resolution.

According to rumors the new Android casino gambling tool will run on Huawei’s proprietary quad-core K3V3 chipset with 1.8GHz CPU. The impressive 6.1 inch, LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) screen will boast 361ppi density allowing never-before-seen quality of multimedia and games.

Other features of the upcoming mobile casino games device are said to include a 4,000mAh battery, which will certainly provide more than enough juice for mobile casino sessions to last over longer periods of time. The Huawei Ascend Mate will sport a pretty slim 9.9mm bodyline, despite powerful specs.

The Huawei Ascend Mate is expected to be officially unveiled during January’s CES right next to the Ascend D2. As for the pricing policy, rumor has it that Ascend Mate will be priced at around $480.
