Lava International XOLO X500 launches in India appealing to budget mobile gamers with its great specs

We all remember the world’s first Intel Atom based smartphone from Lava International – the XOLO X900. Despite being a great device it was too expensive to be the primary mobile casino gambling tool for a wide range of gamers.

The company has now introduced the XOLO X500 – a mid-range device – based on the new Intel Atom Z2420 CPU, which is also known as Lexington, and was specifically created to power budget devices.

The processor inside the XOLO X500 is clocked at 1.2GHz and utilizes Intel’s proprietary Hyper-Threading technology that can double the processor cores per one physical core, thus making the CPU more powerful and efficient – great for mobile casino games.

The device itself comes with a 3.5 inch screen with 480×320 resolution, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card for extension and 512MB of RAM. Further specs of the Android casino tool include a 5MP snapper, 1,500mAh battery source, dual-SIM support and Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The XOLO X500 smartphone is selling for 8,999 rupees (around $168) in a SIM-free version, which is a very attractive price for a smartphone with such capabilities. No word is yet available on if the smartphone will be launching internationally.
