The much anticipated mega-smartphone from Lenovo – the K900 – will hit the shelves in China on May 6.

Following its premier at the CES in Las Vegas back in January this year, the Lenovo K900 mobile casino gambling device has been widely discussed on the internet. Finally, the company has revealed a release date for the flagship – May 6.

The Android casino monster is running on the Intel Clover Trail platform and boasts a mega 5.5 inch IPS 1080p display. The peculiarity of the devices lies in its ultra-thin stainless steel and polycarbonate body – only 6.9mm thick.

The power features of the K900 include a whopping 2GHz dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card if you need more, graphics are handled by the PowerVR SGX544 GPU. In the camera department there’s a 13MP snapper on the back and a 2MP unit on the front panel. A 2,500mAh battery has enough juice to offer long Android blackjack sessions.

The connectivity suit of the Lenovo K900 offers the usual refinements including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB. The phone supports dual-SIM, and the power features make it one of the best smartphones to date able to operate two SIM cards at the same time.

The K900 will only be available in China at first, and as of now there’s no way of knowing if it will make it to other markets, but with features like that it would be a real shame if it didn’t.
