The specs for the LG Optimus G Pro are officially confirmed as the smartphone prepares to enter the Korean market.

Ever since the LG Optimus G Pro has been officially unveiled by the Korean giant, the mobile casino fans were eagerly waiting for the confirmation of specifications rumors. And finally the manufacturer has officially shed light on what’s inside the upcoming flagship, when the smartphone was announced for the home market.

The brand new Android casino tamer comes with a 5.5 inch screen with 1920×1080 resolution, tucked into a narrow bezel at 76.1mm (Galaxy Note II – the phoneblet – is 80.5mm wide). The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC featuring 1.6GHz quad-core Krait 300 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, and 2GB or RAM – the first smartphone on the market to have such a combination.

Further specs will allow full enjoyment of mobile casino games with 32GB of built-in storage and a possibility to expand via a microSD card. The whole thing is running on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out-of-the-box.

In the multimedia department the LG Optimus G Pro shines with a 13MP snapper featuring a LED flash on the back, and a 2.1MP front camera. The smartphone comes with a brand new Dual Recording feature, which allows to shoot videos using both cameras at once, where the smaller pic from the front unit is inserted into the bigger one for the picture-in-picture effect.

Android blackjack sessions are guaranteed to last longer than ever with a 3,140mAh battery powering the LG Optimus G Pro. The smartphone also supports wireless charging, which slowly but surely becomes the latest craze among manufacturers.

The device is expected to hit the Korean shops sometime this week, and is scheduled to make an appearance later on this month at the MWC. International release date and pricing policy are still a mystery.
