LG Optimus GK Release Date Approaches the Korean Market

The LG Optimus GK goes official, will be available through the Korean carrier KT at first.

LG has officially announced the new Android smartphone – Optimus GK, to be sold through the KT carrier in Korea.

LG Optimus line has just received another member – the Optimus GK. The mobile casino gambling device will first hit the shelves through the KT carrier on the home market, but based on its success it might get through to the international market as well.

The latest Android casino monster offers all the bells and whistles the LG Optimus G Pro has, but comes in a slightly smaller body featuring a 5 inch Full HD IPS screen with 44ppi density. Other features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset, and a 1.7GHz CPU.

The mobile casino games tamer also packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot for further extension. The battery source gives 3,100mAh of juice, while the multimedia department is headed by a 13MP snapper on the back, with a 2MP unit on the front.

The newest LG device comes with Android 4.1.2. Jelly Bean out of the box and is expected to start selling very soon. Unfortunately there’s still no information about the price of LG Optimus GK. Stay tuned for our updates on the phone’s pricing and its fate on the international smartphone arena.
