Mobile gaming is no longer just about the winnings, the eco-friendly LG Viper 4G LTE is about to hit the Sprint Wireless stores.

The much anticipated LG device was first revealed to fans of mobile casinos back at this year’s CES. Now, Sprint Wireless officially announces the smartphone’s launch. The LG Viper 4G LTE is scheduled to go on sale throughout the carrier’s stores on April 12.

Powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread the new LG smartphone will treat regulars of Android casinos to a usual for mid-range phones arsenal of features. These include a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, a 4 inch WVGA display, 1GB of RAM and a 5MP snapper.

Mobile casino games are expected to download and run super-fast thanks to the LTE network connectivity option alongside the NFC capabilities. However, the most attractive point of difference for the new smartphone is its almost 100% green packaging and heavily recycled casing. Now, you can enjoy mobile games without causing the Mother Nature a headache.

Sprint Wireless also shared its pricing policy for the new device with fans of mobile casino gambling. $100 will be enough to go “green” provided you undersign a 2-year contract and put in a $50 mail-in rebate.

Despite the mid-range qualities of the phone, Sprint Wireless is hoping its green features will provide enough catch for customers to celebrate the launch of the carrier’s LTE network in large numbers.
