Mobile casino gambling is about to enter a new era with a quad-core Krait powered device from Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi Mi-Two becomes the first ever smartphone to be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 S4 Pro chipset, the most powerful mobile chipset to date, promising never-before-seen mobile casino games experience.

The Mi-Two will definitely become the fastest device for mobile casino lovers, when it reaches the shelves in October. Various benchmarks revealed that even dual-core Krait processors can rival the quad-core Cortex-A9 ones (Exynos 4 and Tegra 3), just imagine what the quad-core Krait is capable of.

On top of the super-power CPU, the Xiaomi Mi-Two will bring Android casino gamers 2GB or RAM, Adreno 320 GPU and a 4.3 inch IPS LCD screen with 720p resolution and 324ppi. Other features include an 8MP snapper with 1080p@20fps and 720p@90fps video recording capabilities.

The list of specs continues to impress with MHL-enabled USB, HSPA+ up to 42Mbps speed, 16GB of internal memory plus a microSD card slot, and a choice between a 2000mAh and a 3000mAh batteries.

The Xiaomi Mi-Two runs on a heavily customized version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – called MIUI, which could be characterized as an Android in an iOS mold.

The phone is expected to cost around $315, which means it will not only be the cheapest quad-core smartphone, but even one of the most affordable dual-cores as well. Unfortunately, the phone is only announced for China so far, and there’s no information about an international launch.
