Cash-Out Just Latest Innovation from Paddy Power

Irish online and mobile sportsbook Paddy Power has revealed its intention to launch a new feature to improve its service to key customers in the football betting market. Unlike most of their innovations, however, this one is definitely not theirs, having been the centre of an advertising campaign for competitor Betfair.

Indeed, Paddy Power look set to offer their mobile sports betting fans the option to cash-out. This would allow the punter to take a smaller win during a match, should they believe the match will not produce the result they’re after. That’s not all the sportsbook are launching, however, although they’re a lot more tight lipped about the other new services that will be coming to their products soon.

With mobile casinos and sportsbooks slowly taking over the world of gambling, Paddy Power’s regular innovations have pushed them to the top of the pile. Managing Director of online, Peter O’Donovan, told investors that: “In November we’ll be releasing the first of our cash-out products as well, which would be on football betting, and we expect that to launch over the next week or two.”

With Paddy Power posting an unexpected fall in year on year profits – blamed upon a series of unfavorable sporting results – this news will come as a boost to investors. With the company launching a number of new initiatives recently, it is obviously ready to attempt to become the out and out number one.
