Panasonic P51

Panasonic P51 becomes the first smartphone from the Japanese manufacturer to be launched on the Indian market.

A pretty decent smartphone from Panasonic is about to hit the Indian market making mobile casino gamers jump for joy. The P51 is expected to cost around $520 and will hit the country’s shelves some time next week.

The brand new Android casino tamer comes with a 5 inch 1280×720 screen, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek CPU, and 1GB or RAM. The smartphone will also deliver an 8MP rear snapper with 1080p video capabilities, and a 1.3MP front camera unit. The internal memory is limited to 4GB, but there’s a microSD card slot for extension.

The Panasonic P51 will is pretty thin with only 8.5mm body and weight just over 130g. It will be powered by the very latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The 2,500mAh battery will enable decent Android blackjack session times.

The retail package for India includes a magnetic flip cover and a stylus to make the offer more attractive. It’s yet unclear if the Panasonic device will make it to other markets, our best guess is that it will depend on how the smartphone performs in the initial launch country.
