Samsung Galaxy Appeal release
Galaxy Appeal

The Samsung Galaxy Appeal is a mid-range droid heading straight for the AT&T shelves and offering a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Who says you can’t combine excessive texting with real money mobile casino gambling? Samsung and AT&T say you sure can. The latest droid from the Korean giant will be released through AT&T shops at the start of next month. Its name is Galaxy Appeal and the main attraction it offers is the slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Besides the keyboard, the new smartphone will offer mobile casino games enthusiasts a 800MHz ARM Cortex A5 CPU on the Qualcomm MSM7225A SoC. The 513MB of RAM and 1.8GB of built-in memory with the possibility to extend via a microSD card should be enough for quality mobile gaming.

The Samsung Galaxy Appeal packs a 3.2 inch HVGA screen with 480×320 resolution, 3MP snapper and a 1300mAh battery. Clearly it’s a mid-range device and the Android Gingerbread OS with TouchWiz UI confirm it.

Now, as for the price, it’s really attractive indeed. The phone will first make an appearance at Walmart stores, where it will go for $150. Not bad for the specs it packs.

We here at BlackjackChamp.com feel that the QWERTY aspect of the smartphone and naturally its low price will surely capture hearts, minds and most importantly hard earned cash of many tight-budgeted mobile gamers also keen on texting.
