Vertu rumored to prepare Android smartphone

Vertu is considering making Android-powered device in order to grab a piece of a smartphone market pie.

After Vertu separated from Nokia, it was rumored to be working on ways to distant itself from the much outdated Symbian OS, the luxury phones were running on. The latest chit-chat suggests that the ultra-expensive phone manufacturer will soon launch an Android casino tool.

Current rumors suggest that the first Vertu device to run on Android will be the Constellation Ti. The smartphone will reportedly come with a 800×480 screen, 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM8260A chipset, 1,250mAh battery, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Judging by the specs – the mobile casino games device is not something extraordinary, but we have to remember that Vertu places more emphasis on the looks and materials used, rather on what’s inside. However, making a move into Android casino gambling is a very good strategy, which will ultimately allow buyers who strive for ultra-unique phones to be able to enjoy perks of a modern smartphone.

As for the uber-luxurious materials, the Vertu Constellation Ti will offer the following options: Titanium Black Alligator, Titanium Black PVD Leather, Red Gold Mixed Metal, and Titanium Black Leather.

We have to note that these are only rumors at this point, but Vertu is supposed to announce a brand new device during the next couple of weeks, so the Android-based smartphone could very well be the one.
