Galaxy S III

Mobile gamers rejoice as Samsung presents its new flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S III – to hit the store by the end of May.

The much anticipated Unpacked event is over and the Samsung Galaxy S III mobile casinos tamer is official. The Korean giant has put a lot at stake on the new smartphone, yet looking at its specs it might be up to the job of beating the competition.

Android casinos players were pleasantly surprised to get all their wishes accomplished. The Galaxy S III runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and packs the following specs: quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex A9 CPU sitting on the Exynos 4212 Quad chipset next to the Mali-400MP GPU.

Further features to boost mobile casino games include a 4.8 inch HD SuperAMOLED screen with 720×1280 resolution and Gorilla Glass technology to shield it from wear. The main snapper is a “modest” 8MP with 1080p video capabilities, and the 1.9MP front camera is also included to enrich video calling experience.

The RAM is set at 1GB and the Galaxy S III will be available in 16/32/64GB internal memory versions. Connectivity options are taken care of by Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, TV-out, USB-on-the-go, GPS and NFC support. Naturally the battery is large enough to power the beast – 2100mAh.

Besides the ICS the Galaxy S III comes with TouchWiz 4.0 UI and includes support for DivX/Xvid, Swype text input and new improved SNS integration. The snapper can now be activated by voice and includes a burst shooting feature taking 3.3 shots per second and even choosing the best ones for you.

Another innovation in the camera department, which excited us here at BlackjackChamp.com, is the zero shutter lag, and an impressive less than a second shot-from-shot time. Lucky owners will also be able to capture still photos while recording videos.

The monster phone will launch throughout Europe on May 29 and UK carriers have already worked out various contract plans to offer the phone at the lowest price possible.
