LTE-A network will double the speed of conventional LTE, and Samsung already has a device to cope with those speeds.

The South Korean SK Telecom carrier has recently introduced the LTE-A network, which is capable to reach speeds of up to 150Mbps, doubling the capacity of the conventional LTE. Samsung didn’t waste much time and has come up with a mobile casino tamer to accommodate the new network – the Galaxy S4 LTE-A.

The brand spanking new S4 LTE-A sports the same design as its I9500 sibling and will be available in blue arctic or red aurora color schemes. While the dimensions of the new Samsung are the same as the international version, its weight is one gram heavier – 131g.

The specifications of the Android casino monster are also slightly different, the main point is the ultra-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset powering the smartphone. The rest of the features are intact: 5-inch 1080p SuperAMOLED screen, 13MP snapper, 32GB of internal storagy, microSD card slot, and the IR port.

The new device is expected to cost a bit more than its “normal” brother. So far there’s no word on the S4 LTE-A release date and whether it will be available anywhere else except the home market of South Korea.
