Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N launched
Android Alcatel

Mobile gamblers can now enjoy their favorite mobile casino games on a cheap Android based dual-SIM smartphone from Alcatel.

Alcatel is not a brand name you hear often, but the company is still around and recently treated fans of mobile casinos to a dual-SIM Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N smartphone. The new device is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is a perfect solution for gamers with tight budget.

The entry-level smartphone offers fans of Android casinos a 650MHz CPU with 265MB of RAM and a 3.2 inch LCD with HVGA resolution. The specs aren’t the best, but quite enough to provide gamers with enough power to enjoy an extensive list of mobile casino games.

Besides the obvious great feature of dual-SIM, Alcatel also threw in a 3MP snapper, A-GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 to help mobile casino games enthusiasts fell better with their purchase. Two SIM cards on the Alcatel Blaze Duo are stored in a peculiar way: they both enter the same slot, yet one is inserted face down and the other one – face up.

The Alcatel Blaze Duo OT-918N is already on sale in the Philippines for about $140, and its brother the 918D (with a different set of connectivity options) is available in Australia for $179. Note that there’s a single-SIM version too, the OT-918, so make sure you don’t confuse them in the shop.
