Brazilian mobile gamers can soon enjoy a peculiar device – a triple-SIM Motorola featurephone good enough for gambling.
Motorola announced a peculiar device heading straight for the hands of Brazilian fans of real money mobile casino gambling. The Motorola MOTOKEY 3-CHIP is a feature phone with decent specs good enough to allow gambling. Its most interesting feature is the presence of 3 SIM card slots.
While naturally designed to give frequent travelers more freedom, the new Motorola phone doesn’t shine in the specs department. It offers a full QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, 2MP snapper and FM radio. Nonetheless, the features are enough to run real money mobile casino games, and the price of the device is quite good indeed: only $171 for a SIM-free version.
Only one SIM may be used for data transferring at a time, while the other two will only be available for calling and messaging. It’s a strange approach, but considering the price of the phone and its triple-SIM capability, we here at BlackjackChamp.com think it will be selling nicely.
The device will be exclusive to the Brazilian market and will launch in the first week of June. No word on international availability yet, however, it doesn’t seem probable.
