UMI X2 - cheap 5 inch 1080p device
UMI X2

Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMI is about to launch a very affordable smartphone with a 5 inch, 1080p screen.

Smartphones with 5 inch screens featuring 1080p resolution may be the latest trend with all the major manufacturers entering the club, but these mobile casino gambling tools are usually very expensive. Not for long though, as Chinese manufacturer UMI plans to introduce its own take on the niche with a very attractive price tag.

The Android casino monster in question is the UMI X2, and it’s about to hit the stores in India for around $260. On top of the 5 inch, 1080p display, the new smartphone will come with a 1.2GHz MTK6589 quad-core CPU from MediaTek, next to PowerVR SGX544 GPU, and 2GB of RAM.

Other features of the upcoming mobile casino games tool include 32GB of built-in memory with a possibility to expand via a microSD card, 13MP back snapper, and 3MP front facing unit, dual-SIM support, and a 2,500mAh battery. The whole thing is running on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, with immediate plans to upgrade to 4.2.

The UMI X2 is expected to see the light of day in India somewhere between March 15 and 20. With the very impressive list of specs and an attractive pricing policy, the device is bound to become successful. We just hope that it will land in our markets as well.
