Samsung presented the latest budget smartphone to satisfy the needs of all Android casino gamblers – Galaxy Pocket.

The latest addition to the extremely popular Galaxy lineup will treat fans of mobile casinos to an affordable pricing policy and nevertheless great mobile gaming capabilities. With its entry-level specifications the new smartphone is destined to become one of the most affordable phones on the market.

The cheap mobile casino games tool will have a 2.8 inch QVGA LCD screen and will be powered by a 832MHz CPU. It will run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and given its budget nature is highly doubtful that Ice Cream Sandwich update will ever reach it.

The phone will offer acceptable levels of mobile casino games suitability with its 3GB of internal memory and up to 32GB microSD slot option.

As for connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Pocket will provide dual-band 3.6Mbps HSDPA and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE functions. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB are also included.

In the camera department, the new smartphone packs just a 2MP snapper, but this is not a cameraphone after all. An audio jack and Stereo FM radio with RDS are included to make up for poor photo capabilities.

No official release date is yet known, gamers with a tight budget should expect it sometime this year and at a modest price indeed.
