Apple iPhone users only get access to part of the internet when they get online using their iPhones. The pieces that are missing are any websites with Flash content, because the iPhone simply doesn’t support Flash. Steve Jobs says it’s because Flash is buggy, but the fact is that Apple likes running closed, proprietary systems, and wants all iPhone developers to create apps using Apple-approved programming languages. Flash is a cross-browser, cross-platform system, and this goes against Apple’s desire to keep things under wraps.

Adobe, the developer of Flash, gave up on battling Apple for iPhone Flash support back in April. As loud as iPhone users scream, it seems the dream of seeing iPhone Flash support is dead in the water.

This is bad news for online gamblers. Many internet casinos offer no-download casino games like slots, blackjack, and video poker. Moblie devices with Flash support can access and run these games just fine, but the iPhone cannot.

Fortunately, internet casino owners have found other ways of bringing real-money casino games to iPhone users. They have simply given in to Apple’s desires, and have developed mobile casino games that are specifically designed to run on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Apple also dislikes gambling, so these casino games won’t be found at the Apple Apps store, but players can download them free of charge from the online casinos that offer them.

There are already quite a few iPhone casinos out there, like All Slots Mobile Casino and JackpotCity Mobile Casino. More are opening up with each passing month. At this point not many of these mobile casinos offer games designed for the iPad, but these will surely emerge in the future. So while iPods may never see Flash support, the mobile gambling industry has gone the extra mile to provide iPhone users with all the iPhone casino games they need.
