BlackBerry plans BB10.1 update
BB10.1 OS update

The first smartphone running on the BB10 OS – Z10 – is still looking to bring BlackBerry back to life, but already there’s a software update in the works.

The launch of BlackBerry Z10 was a success in Europe, but it still far away from making an impact in USA. The second device running on the BB10 OS – Q10 – is scheduled to be released soon. The latest news is that there will also be a major update launching together with the phone – the BB10.1.

The next BlackBerry gambling device is scheduled to launch in a couple of weeks, and the upcoming update will naturally reach both smartphones. However the BB10.1 will mostly be targeting the Q10 functionality.

The update for the BlackBerry mobile casino tamer will deliver camera updates, which will include much faster performance and HDR mode for increased performance in low-light settings. BlackBerry Link is also rumored to be updated with the upgrade.

Other features of the BB10.1 are expected to include Keyboard Shortcuts, BlackBerry Balance, Mnemonic Phone Dialing, Smartcard Support, Cross Domain Email Warnings, Word Prediction, Type N Go, Dark Theme Support, BlackBerry Mobile Voice System Support, Out-of-Box-Experience, and Corporate Liable Feature.

The BlackBerry Q10 mobile casino games tool is expected to appear on the shelves of Canada and the USA around April 30, so that’s when the BB10.1 upgrade should start seeding as well.
