Mobile gamers can soon enjoy extensive features of yet another powerful smartphone – the Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos.

The latest in the family of Galaxy S II from Samsung is the I929, a China Telecom version of the popular smartphone. The Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos will treat fans of mobile casinos to both CDMA2000 and GSM support.

The latest gadget destined for Android casinos sports a 4.52 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display and features a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU. Although the details of the chipset are yet unavailable, the CPU’s clock speed suggests that the Galaxy S II Duos will run on a modified Exynos.

Further features of the phone will offer fans of mobile casino games an 8MP camera with 1080p video capabilities and a 2MP front snapper for video calls. The Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, but the Ice Cream Sandwich update should be expected at the start of next year when the rest of Galaxy S II family receives it.

All the usual tricks of the high-end smartphone are also present including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack. The 16GB of internal memory, expandable by up to 32GB with the microSD card slot, should be enough to satisfy even the most demanding mobile casino gambling.

Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos is a bit thicker (9.8mm) and a slightly on the heavy side (132 g) than its international brother, however it boasts a larger, 1800 mAh battery, to compensate for it.
