HTC Butterfly to get Android 4.2.2
HTC Butterfly

The Android 4.2.2 upgrade for the HTC Butterfly is coming shortly, currently the system dump is already available.

Various sources report that the system dump for HTC Butterfly running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the latest Sense 5.1 UI has leaked. This can only mean that the official upgrade of the popular mobile casino tool is just around the corner.

The much-anticipated upgrade will also deliver the BlinkFeed homescreen, which can be currently found only inside the HTC One flagship Android casino device. The Sense 5.1 UI will have an option to choose between the stock home screen displaying only shortcuts and widgets or the new BlinkFeed screen.

The latest update will also provide mobile casino games fans with quick shortcuts and toggles for the notifications area. Both shortcuts and toggles would be accessible by swiping two fingers down the screen of the device.

However, there are some bad news: the advanced imaging tech found inside the HTC One – HTC Zoe – will not be making it into the upcoming upgrade. Let’s hope HTC will change their minds about that and include the Zoe in the final version of the upgrade.

The upcoming Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5.1 are said to further enhance the HTC Butterfly’s already impressive performance. The official release date is rumored to come by the end of May.
